On Sunday, February 26, I will fly to Lima to begin a two week English Language Specialist stint. I'm really looking forward to it. I will get the opportunity to meet and work face to face with a number of ELTs from the region with whom I've been working in two online courses:
Integrating the Internet into the Classroom and
Exploring Web 2.0: Tools for Classroom Teaching and Professional Development. After the two week training session, I will get to celebrate my 60th birthday by hiking the
Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I'll be hiking with two good friends and think it will be a challenging and memorable way to mark my 6th decade!
